The Best Rock Bands Every Music Head Should Know About

There has been an age's long debate regarding the best rock bands. It is one of the arguments that often end up in a brawl and end friendships forever. Get this straight; we are not the ultimate decision-makers; just keep that in mind.

Rock is obviously not dead, but honestly, it's not hard to see why people always say it is. We get it, the music industry these days is dominated by genres like Hip Hop, EDM, and Pop, but that doesn't mean we have to eliminate Rock from the list.

Here we present to you the top 5 rock bands which in our opinion made it to the good books of their listeners.

5. Aerosmith

This is one of those bands people have always liked and just couldn't get enough of. The band was formed back in 1970, and by the 75's, they successfully carved their own niche and were sounding like the band that stadium concerts had been invented for. Some of their most-listened tracks are "Dream On," "Last Child," Same Old Song and Dance," and "Draw the Line."

4. Kiss

Kiss were not the only first rock'n'roll band with a strong visual identity. The Beatles had their iconic mop-tops and dandyish suits. Kiss arrived at the rock music industry in the 1970s; they were often referred to as superheroes straight out of a comic. They had superhero names: rhythm guitarist/lead vocalist Paul Stanley as The Starchild; bassist Gene Simmons, The Demon; lead guitarist Ace Frehley, The Space Ace; drummer Peter Criss, The Catman. This list would be incomplete without this band.

3. Guns N' Roses

The band was once referred to as "The Most Dangerous Band in The World." Following a career that spanned over three decades, there's not a single band on the band that hasn't been affected by these Hollywood hard rock pioneers. They didn't invent rock'n'roll, but they do end up perfecting it. It used to be a roller coaster ride watching them live. "We were a train wreck," said original drummer Steven Adler. "But you couldn't take your eyes off us."

2. Queen

Queen was one of the uniquely talented rock music bands that certainly could rock as hard as anyone. The best part about their genre is that it was a perfect fusion between the elements of jazz, funk, opera, ragtime, and vaudeville. TheirThey're single titled "Bohemian Rhapsody" broke all records, and it was a treat witnessing that track performed live. If you'd like to know more about this one heck of a band, you should watch the "Bohemian Rhapsody" movie.

1. Led Zeppelin

Who were you expecting at #1?

Led Zeppelin is the greatest rock band to ever walk down on earth. Apparently, it all started back in 1969, when the band released their first album. It reached its maximum on 22nd October that year when they released the follow-up, Led Zeppelin II. Both were heavier and more textured compared to their debut. The band was best known for its epic live shows that seemed almost supernatural in origin.

Last Words

So, those were some of the best rock bands ever to walk the face of the earth. They surely were a treat to listen to back then and now as well. If you feel like we missed out on something big, which we believe we did, let us know.
